CITYnvest project reached out to more than 13000 visitors of the 11th edition of the “Salon des Mandataires”, which took place on the 18th and 19th of February 2016 in Marche-en-Famenne, Belgium. The event was an excellent opportunity to share CITYnvest experience directly with Belgian municipalities.
A breakfast at the joint stand of CITYnvest and RenoWatt gathered several representatives of municipalities, ESCOs, NGOs and agencies working on climate, energy, environment and territorial development, giving them an opportunity to discuss informally prospective cooperation. The breakfast was followed by a conference outlining both projects.
The « Salon des Mandataires » is an annual event held in February in Marche-en-Famenne. It is dedicated to all public authorities in the Walloon region. Most of the members of Walloon parliament, government and administration, as well as mayors and local authorities’ representative are present at this event.
