WEBINAR - Tackling energy efficiency in multi-occupancy apartment blocks

Date:
Tuesday, 8 March, 2016 -
15:00 to 16:30

With 43% of Europeans living in apartments, improving the energy efficiency of these properties is critical to achieving Europe’s energy and carbon reduction targets.

Yet retrofitting these properties is notoriously challenging, particularly when they are under multiple ownership. Difficulties include the identification of appropriate measures, engaging multiple stakeholders, securing finance and decision-making.

The Low Energy Apartment Futures (LEAF) project has sought to overcome these barriers by practical demonstration case studies and the development of toolkits for other users. This webinar will present an overview of the project, its results and lessons.

The webinar will be of interest to any stakeholders involved in apartment blocks. This includes property managers, local municipalities, housing associations, installers, and policy makers at regional, country and EU level.
