In het kader van het Horizon2020 CITYnvest project worden in 10 lidstaten workshops georganiseerd om sleutelfiguren samen te brengen rond de uitdagingen van financieringsmodellen die werken voor energie efficiëntie in gebouwen. In België werkt CITYnvest met pilootregio Luik, waar een vooruitstrevende ‘One-Stop-Shop’ -Renowatt- is opgericht om energieprestatiecontracten uit te voeren in verschillende gebouwen (ziekenhuizen, ouderenzorg, scholen, KMO’s). We hebben er echter voor gekozen om drie aparte workshops voor België te organiseren aangezien de verschillende context in Wallonië, het Brussels hoofdstedelijk gewest en Vlaanderen. Voor Vlaanderen willen we deze interessante voormiddag toespitsen op twee hoofdthema’s. Naast een plenair gedeelte over de financieringsmodellen voor energie efficiëntie splitsen we ons op in twee groepen. De ene groep zal zich focussen op hoe een lokale autoriteit van start kan gaan met concrete investering en meer bepaald via het model ‘Energieprestatie contracten’, gestoeld op een energiebesparing gegarandeerd door een ‘Energiediensten bedrijf’. De tweede groep zal in debat gaan of investeringsmodellen kunnen worden opgebouwd via coöperatieven en hoe we onze burgers in dit verhaal actief engageren. Verder wil deze voormiddag ook een netwerkopportuniteit vormen: na directe ‘pitches’ van bedrijven en organisaties actief in deze sector, worden de deelnemers geacht verder te netwerken tijdens de lunch. CITYnvest tracht verdere samenwerkingsverbanden die hieruit verder vloeien te ondersteunen om zo concrete projecten in Vlaanderen te realiseren.
In Belgium, CITYnvest works with its pilot region Liège on the development and extension of the front running 'Renowatt' one stop shop to deliver Energy Performance Contracts in various sectors (hospitals, elderly care, schools, SMEs,...). CITYnvest organises for Belgium three different workshops relevant for the three regions. During this Flemish workshop, we will focus on two main pillars. Besides the plenary part on concrete local examples of financing models for energy efficiency, we will have two round table discussions. One will focus on how a local authority can practically get started with a guaranteed savings model, collaborating with ESCOs under EPC contracts. The second group will dig into the world of citizen-based financing models and how to actively get citizens engaged in your energy efficiency investment projects.
Furthermore, this morning will also aim at being a genuine networking opportunity: following direct pitches of companies and organisations active in the sector, the participants are encouraged to continue networking during lunch. CITYnvest wants to support continuously new cooperation opportunities to realise concrete projects in Flanders.
