WALLONIA Region -First Workshop- Towards an economic redeployment through energy for SMEs

The workshop  Towards an economic redeployment through energy tackled the critical issue of Energy and Finance for SMEs.
Participants started from discussing the shift from a binary industry-financing relation, to a tripartite industry-supplier-financing version so as to “de-constrain” the initial rather unattractive financial investment model  for companies that wish to invest but do not have access to financing.
The workshop developed some line of thoughts to  work on concrete cases for building retrofitting. In the workshop conclusion, it was underlined that political impetus, high quality of the partnership and the partners as well as model to support energy retrofit in SMEs are key conditions of success.
